Conta & Boehme Hand Painted Bisque Porcelain 15 Inch Renaissance Man Figurine
Nice large hand painted bisque porcelain figurine of a Renaissance gentlemen in a blue tunic with blue and pink flowers. He has a small pink and white purse and a lute.  Blue and white base with Rococo scrollwork. He is wearing a pink hat with blue and pink feathers and has a pink and blue cape.  With small white bead detailing to his tunic. Marked with an impressed Conta & Boehme shield and impressed a number 6 A. The Conta & Bohme Porcelain Identification and Value guide gives the dates for the impressed mark was around 1840/1845 to 1891
Has some minor loss to the small white beads, and a chip to the bottom of the top of his cape. No additional chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 6 1/4 inches wide x 15 1/8 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
